8 ways to help somebody with anxiety

A lot of people suffer with anxiety, and in many different forms. Some make it obvious, and for some you would never have imagined it.
Heres some tips to help somebody who might be suffering.

  1. Don’t give advice if they haven’t asked for it
  2. Be available to actively listen
  3. Help them find the support they need
  4. Don’t assume they’re okay, ask them
  5. Don’t force them to just forget about it
  6. Remind them they are loved and cared for
  7. respect their challenges even if you cant understand them
  8. Make sure they know that they are a human, just like everybody else and that every emotion they’re feeling, is just normal, and actually healthy for us to let it all out.
